About Robin
I am a NYS certified Math teacher with 20 years of experience teaching math in public schools and tutoring students in Middle School and High School in Westchester County.
I really care about helping students to better understand math concepts so that they can improve their grades and math confidence. I love helping students build the math skills they need to accurately and confidently solve math problems.
Persistance, accuracy and practice are as important as understanding how to solve. I like to think of math problems as puzzles waiting to be solved. I will help you develop the correct math habits so that you will correctly solve these puzzles.
This will lead to improved grades and hopefully you will actually begin to like math. ( or at least not hate it!)
