About Michelle
I'm a 12th-grade student who's consistently taken higher-level classes, and I've had years of experience with tutoring (starting at a local Kumon center when I was 15, working in a family-owned business, and working as a volunteer tutor at school as part of the Honor Society). I always aim to create bonds and friendships with my students, which makes them more excited and ready to learn. Though I focus significantly on getting the students comfortable with me, I still maintain professionalism and am very goal-oriented when it comes to teaching or helping students improve. I do very well with keeping the students engaged, actively participating, and practicing what we learn as opposed to just lecturing for an extended period of time.
