About Sophia
I have experience tutoring 5th grade to high school seniors, and college students. I will be graduating in a year with my degree in Mathematics and Chemistry and do a variety of work in both subjects. I am and have been a teaching assistant for Calculus I, Calculus II, algebra, pre-calculus, and more higher level courses. I have also been a tutor for General Chemistry, and act as an Organic chemistry lab assistant.
I have been selected as a scholar and have been the recipient of a research stipend from a STEM education program created by the National Science Foundation Act. So, I have had training and experience in STEM education in high schools interested in STEM pedagogy. I hope to continue to lend my experiences and further creative education of math and the sciences.
Extra help can be provided for Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, set theory, introduction to proof based mathematics, and other classes.
