About Sasha
I'm a highschool student currently enrolled in multivariable calculus/linear algebra and AP Spanish so I have a strong background in both math and Spanish. I have tutored students in person the past year and am hoping to help students online. Past experience has taught me to be patient and flexible because everyone's learning style is different.
I like that I'm helping someone understand a subject that I love. I also enjoy seeing the "aha" moment on a student's face when a concept clicks because math can be very frustrating at times.
I wanted to see if I could help others with what I learned in school. Also, there's about a 30:1 student to teacher ratio in a classroom so I wanted to help those students who are struggling.
I've tutored math and Spanish in person the past year. I'm also a multivariable calculus/linear algebra math student and I'm in AP Spanish.

I see what the student needs help with and adjust my teaching to their learning style. For example, some need a more focused and structured tutor, while others can have a more relaxed style and still get their work done.
I have worked with students who have an IEP and students who are in honors/AP classes but needed a bit of help.
The student I tutored started passing the class I was tutoring them for and they were very excited to share that with me! I've also gotten into a few of my top colleges so now is decision time!
