About Josh
Math comes natural to me, but I have a strong sense of formulating my ideas and concepts into ways that anyone can understand. I worked as a calculus tutor for three years back in college and loved every second of it. For work, I worked as a Mechanical Engineer in aerospace for five years. Whether it's basic algebra or complex calculus, I pride myself in being able to work with anyone.
I have always enjoyed the "ah-ha" moment in students. That moment when they have been really struggling wrapping their head around a concept, and then when explained in a different manner, it all clicks. I have always believed that anyone can enjoy math, it just takes the right outlook.
Bachelors in Sceince, Mechanical Engineering.
Minor in Mathematics.
Five years at an aerospace company as a Mechical Engineer.

I as going through calc 1 and was barley getting by with a C. I attend NAU and majoring in math. Found Josh and he was nothing short of an expert. Knew every subject and had an answer for all my questions. My biggest problem in calc was with related rates. Especially with volumes. But become super clear. Finished the class with a B almost got an A. 5 stars all the way.
