About Dennis
I have been tutoring for about 5 years. I have a few younger siblings, and my goal is for my students to make significant mathmatical progress, get better grades, and have lots of fun. My approach to tutoring involves analyzing each students weaknesses, and then creating games or fun worksheets in order to improve every area that is lacking. I have had a lot of success, some of my students have even jumped a letter grade or two in just a couple weeks.
I take a big brother approach to teaching. I want them to leave not just with better math skill, but also a desire to learn more.
I have younger siblings, so I grew up helping them with math homework.
I have graduated high school, and am currently pursuing a double-major in Statistics and Mathmatics.

My first approach to working with a student is to give them a few tests to find their level of math proficiency. Then, I discover their learning style, and create games specifically geared to help them improve. Every couple of weeks, I give them a questionare about how well they feel that tutoring is going, and if they have any suggestions.
I have worked with students of a variety of ages, genders, and races.
Look for a teacher who will tailor their lessons to you as a student.
