About Sydney
I am currently a junior at The University of North Texas where I am pursuing a masters degree in accounting. I earned an associates degree in both Business and Science at Richland community college. Throughout the years I have taken many math courses and made A's in all of them. I have tutored students in Algebra I, college statistics I and II, and Intermediate Accounting. I would love to help anyone who is currently struggling in these classes or needs supplemental instruction due to the closing of many schools across America.
Although I have always loved math, I know that it is not a very popular opinion. The reason why most students hate math is because it is hard for them to understand. I enjoy giving people the tools to understand these challenging courses and creating less stress around the subject.

When working with a new student I start off by asking them the specific areas they are having trouble with. I also like to see what their learning style is, if the student does not know I have them take a quiz. I come up with problems and questions that focus on those areas to practice together. I usually have them work on their homework alone and then I check it afterwards for errors or skipped questions. I also help them prepare for tests by going over the review provided by their teacher or creating one for them if one was not provided.
