About Victoria
I like to apply an active learning model when instructing. I think it's essential for students to work on implementing the skills being taught as they are learning them. By using this strategy, my students have been able to break down concepts into smaller, digestible steps and ask questions each step of the way.
I started tutoring during my freshman year of college and I fell in love with the field of education. As an educator, I love tutoring because it gives people that one on one attention that they don't always get in the classroom. As a mathematician I love getting other people excited about math. (okay, I know most people don't get excited about math. However, people do get excited when they get a challenging problem right. I'm in it for that moment).
