About Boris
I am a math tutor from the Twin Cities metro area with more than 10 years of tutoring experience.
I work with all levels of students: those who are struggling with homework and tests, as well as those who need comprehension of the key concepts. Also, I work with those students who are taking advanced courses, such as gifted and talented students from the UMTYMP Program at UMN, Saint Paul Academy, Nova Classical Academy.
I offer tutoring in high school math, university courses in math, high school physics and chemistry, and introductory university physics and chemistry courses.
I have helped high school students prepare for the AP Calculus and AP Physics tests and the math and science portions of the SAT and ACT Exams. And I teach introductory calculus, multivariable calculus, and differential equations to unversity students.
I enjoy teaching in general, especially tutoring and teaching math.
I enjoy the monitoring the process of learning and acquiring comprehension. It is most enjoyable to observe how students lose anxiety toward academic work and gain confidence in the subject matter.
