About Robert
Who am I: I have an A.A in Biology and currently on my last year of my B.A.S in Medical Laboratory Science. I have been tutoring on and off the last 5 years. It is something I enjoy doing as a way to give back.
Tutoring:
Use effecient methods, such as giving real world scenarios and examples that student can releate to drive the concept home.
Always assess student to understand what he/she is struggling with and come prepare with assignments that target struggling areas.
I was recommended to other students by my professors because the way I was able to explain what I learned made gave my professors the impression that I really understood the subject. My explanations were always simplified it for anyone to understand.
I have an A.A in biology and currently working on my B.A.S. All my classes require a strong understanding of algebra.

I start with a quick assessment to to understand where the student is struggling and what he/she understands. I do this by to work through examples with the students and seeing how much of the problem he/she can accomplish on their own.
I have worked with Middle School, Highschool, College, and Adults. Some were completely lost and some just needed more clarification that was not being provided by the teacher/professor.
Degrees can be misleading. You want a tutor who can simplify what you are learning and who is going to be approchable even when you ask the same questions more than once.
I had a Highschool Student who was not doing so well in Math class. So I tutored her for 3 sessions and scored top grade on her exam when she took it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should be realistic in what they don't know. For example if you start with "I think" , chances are you do not know or are not confident enough to say you know.

I charge 40.00 the first hour for a new student (At last 1 hour session 1st time). Then my rate is $15.00 every hour.
