About Satenik
I am a dedicated, driven, and goal oriented with multi-tasking skills special education teacher in Math and Science. I provide years of experience in collaborating and communicating with teachers, parents, and school administrators in regards to Math, Science and students with disabilities.
I have been nominated Teacher of the Year in 2020.
I believe everyone learns differently and it is important that we know multiple ways of teaching the concept.
My favorite part is when students say "I got it" or "ohhhh".
I have always worked with young adults. I started tutoring when I was only 17 years old. I strongly believe there is no one way of teacher. It is extremely important to recognize student's strengths.
I'm currently a math and science teacher for students with disabilities. I continuously collaborate with other teachers that teach math and science.

I always assess the student first. I believe in order to better assist the student I need to figure out his/her strengths and challenges. I also need to assess his/her learning styles. These two important information will assist me with the best way to tutor my students.
I have worked with students with and without disabilities.
Teachers should get to know your learning styles and assess you to know your strengths and challenges.
I became teacher of the year in 2020.
