About Emil
I have an immense educational background as a high-schooler. I have founded my own IT company and have supported over 100 residents with technical difficulties, specifically focusing on companionship and care. In addition, I have spent the past two years working at Zaniac Learning in Greenwich, where I have taught classes of over ten students in mathematics and computer science. I have worked with students with a variety of learning abilities and disabilities.
Watching a student's face light up as they are able to grasp a new idea or concept is one of the biggest joys I can experience as a tutor. I always love working with a variety of students and learners and getting them to places they didn't believe they could previously reach.
I'm a highly driven and passionate student with interests in a variety of fields ranging from statistics to literature. Throughout my high school career I have taken 17 AP courses, am an AP National Scholar, and have received a 1580 on the SAT and 790 on the SAT Math II. I have also taken a number of higher-level business, computer science, and mathematics courses in my free-time at universities over the summer or online.
My current course-load includes AP English Literature, French Language, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, Physics C: Mechanics, and Psychology as well as Honors Multivariable Calculus and an Honors Independent Study in Data Science with Python.

When working with a new student I generally like to get a feel for them as both a learner and a student. I identify and assess their strengths and weaknesses and try and understand what excites them in the learning process. Through this, I get to know them more as a person and really hone in on their academic desires.
