About Sonny Ray
- Graduated w/ B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University in 2018
- During undergrad, served as teaching assistant for Multivariable Calculus and Introduction to Mechanics
- Scored perfect 800 in SAT Math Section
- Scored perfect 5 in AP Calc BC Exam
I believe that every student is capable of learning the material, but it takes both parties to work to reach that point. I work very closely with all of my students in ensuring that they feel comfortable in communicating anything that comes to mind pertaining to their math studies. Open channels of communication is extremely valuable in understanding struggles the student may be facing and what course of action would be best taken to address said difficulties. All I ask of my students is to put forth their best efforts in the time we share together. In this case, I'm more than happy to work with them and see the inevitable success that will result from it.
It's truly a joy to watch a student progress in their understanding of the subject material, gain the confidence to attack problems, and ultimately see it translate in their grades. The "a-ha" moment a student experiences never gets old either.
