About Aileen
There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the clouds of confusion clear from a student's face.
I am a current Caltech student and a graduate of St. John's School, a competitive college prep high school in Houston, TX. In the past five years of my tutoring experience, I've seen my share of tough subjects. Together, I've worked with peers and tutoring students to tackle hard problems and reach deeper understanding of confusing concepts.
The most valuable part of tutoring is the individualized attention each student receives. I work hard to listen to my students' needs and change the approach of my explanations to meet them where they are.
I am a student at Caltech, one of the most prestigious STEM research institutions in the U.S. For the past three years, I have worked with the community service center to offer low-cost high-quality tutoring to disadvantaged students.
