About Suzanne
My name is Suzanne and I am a certified Florida educator. I am a creative, knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly tutor who has been tutoring students of all ages and abilities for 17 years. My areas of specialty include test preparation (SAT, GRE, GED, GRE), reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and physical science. I tailor students' learning experiences according to students' needs. I use manipulatives and other resources during tutoring sessions as needed. I have successfully helped hundreds of students improve their grades, skills, test scores. I am currently studying for a doctorate in Curriculum and Assessment at the University of West Florida. I plan to design learning plans for students. Creating lessons for students with different styles of learning is a passion of mine.
I attended the University of Central Florida and received a B.S. in Social Science Education and earned a Florida teaching certificate. I also received a Masters of Arts degree from the University of North Florida. My doctorate in Curriculum and Assessment at the University of Florida will be completed in 2021. My teaching and tutoring experiences are valuable and are very helpful when making adaptations and adjustments for different students.
