About Andrew
Hello, my name is Andrew Yoon and I am available to tutor. I just graduated from Thomas Jefferson HS for Science and Tech (TJHSST) in Alexandria, VA (#1 High School in the US according to US News), and will be attending Yale in the fall. I am able to tutor students in various subjects including math (elementary math up to multi-variable calculus), standardized testing (SAT, PSAT), science (chemistry, physics, SAT subject tests), and Latin. I’m also a United States Junior Math Olympiad (USAJMO) Qualifier with experience in competition math (Mathcounts, AMC, etc.), and can help students prepare for these exams.
Here are some of my qualifications in math:
-United States Junior Math Olympiad Qualifier (~top 230 students in the nation)
-3 time American Invitational Math Exam (AIME) Qualifier
-Perfect score on the Math Level 2 SAT Subject Test
-Perfect score on the math section of the SAT
-Received a 5 on the AP BC Calculus Exam
-Cofounder of TJHSST Precalculus Club (tutored students who may be struggling with the precalculus curriculum at TJHSST)
