About Saman

I believe that not all students learn the same way. I have spent years understanding how the psyche works and how to prime the brain for learning things and accepting new information.

My experience with tutoring started in 1999 when I assisted students to earn credits to get a high school diploma. These students had been turned away from traditional schools for not being able to keep pace with others in their age group. I understand that no two people are alike in their process and we must cater education to the learner rather than the contrary. And that is what I do skillfully: matching teaching style with the individual mindset of the student.

In addition to a bachelor's in Business Management at Blackburn College where I was consistently on the Dean's list, I also have a degree in Hypnotherapy and ADHD to further understand and assist those that might learn differently.

I have a Bachelor's in Business Management and leadership with a minor in Speech Communications. I have spent 8 years studying mindfulness and psychology, especially how it relates to learning, attention, and focus. 

I have an active interest in what seems to limit learning and interest and how to work with ADHD from the Hypnosis Motivational Institute to gain additional resources to help students have the right mindset for optimum learning and growth.

When new students, I like to get to know their style so I can best gauge their process and interests. Do they like things to be explained like a story? Do these students like to hear examples that remind them or peers and family? Do they like jokes? Or do they like to stick to facts and figures and prefer logic?

If we, as educators, do not take the time to understand this, we could lose the rapport and hurt the learning process sometimes causing students to form a lifetime block. Let me help! I have spent a lifetime understanding how the mind works and how to expedite learning.
