About Sarah
I have years of experience tutoring algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. My experience includes tutoring for middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, and even teachers looking to gain certain cridentials.
Prior experience as a tutor. I taught myself Calculus 1 and 2 and went to the highest ranked high school in Massachusetts, which gave me a very strong background in math.

I try to look over coursework that students have already completed before beginning the session. This allows me to determine where exactly students are having difficulty and allows me to prepare example problems to work through with them. This process has proven to be beneficial with all my students.

Math is a tricky subject that can be hard for a lot of people to conceptualize, so it is important to find someone who can convey the rules of mathematics. I also find that the modern school system fails some students in setting up a basic foundation in math so it is important to recognize any disparities and address them
