About Alexandra
I have been involved with teaching and tutoring mathematics for the past 5 years. I have a varied teaching background, and have worked as a tutor, an instructor, a teaching assistant, and a peer educator. I understand the many facets involved in effective education and strive to create a comfortable learning environment for my students.
Being a mathematics tutor combines the two things I love most - teaching and mathematics! I enjoy helping students get to the bottom of their confusion and seeing those lightbulbs go off. A lot of people view struggling in a negative light, but even from my own personal experience, I know that struggling is part of the learning process and a key to true understanding.
