About James
I am a retired high school math teacher - having taught all levels of the high school curriculum up through Calculus BC.
I love mathematics and I love teaching it. My favorite quote from a former student is, " With Mr. Braun, teaching math is not a job, it's a calling". My students find me extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I definitely have the ability to tailor lessons to your needs.
When I was 18, I was asked, " If you could do anything you wanted to with your life, what would you do?" My answer: " Be a math teacher." I loved my job for 36 years and now I love the opportunity to work one-on-one, sharing my talent and experience with people who want to learn math.
