About Nathan
I started my tutoring journey when I volunteered in high school to help tutor some of the foreign exchange students struggling in there social studies courses.
I am currently a college student and have studied at such universities as Georgetown University, American University, and Liberty University. I worked as a tutor during high school and even specialized in teaching History (specifically American History) to foreign students and students where English was not their first language. While in college I also worked briefly in an after school care program within inner DC.

My first step with every new student is to address where every student is currently in their studies and what they may be struggling with. I then will work with my students to help catch them up to speed in their education and help prepare them for their current exams and classes. Once we are caught up, I will then work with my students to gain the skills, tools, and confidence to tackle the subject that they previously struggled with on their own.
I have worked with all ages of students from the elementary school level through after school programs and being a camp counselor for years. I have also tutored students at the high school level. I also do have experience in tutoring students where English is their second language.

What am I struggling with and what do I want to get out of tutoring sessions today?
And,
Where do I want to be by the end of this semester or year?
