I am a math person hence my Degree in Engineering. I strongly believe in knowing the basics well before moving onto the more advanced things.

I've mainly worked with Older retired people trying to get back into the workforce but I have extensive experience working with the kids of friends.
I would say that not only should they look for someone that knows their stuff but someone that can relay their expertise in multiple ways. Also look for someone that they can connect with easily.
