About Sergio
I stand out from the rest because I can very much relate to the struggles students have when they start to learn math topics. I have since mastered many topics from 9th grade to college level algebra. Since, I'm around the same age, it feels a lot more natural and it encourages the student to ask something again if they really don't know the answer. I love to teach people and seeing their reaction when they find out the potential to do well was in them all this time.
Everyone always asked me for help in math class since I'm good at it and then I realized I have a passion for sharing knowledge to others.
For 3 years, I was a volunteer mathematics tutor in my high school until I had to leave at graduation.

My process first begins by asking the student what they are having trouble on. Next, I would explain the elementary basis of the problem and then build upon that in an understanding way. By that point, they would understand how the problem is solved
I've worked with all types of students; from those who only need refreshers to those with special needs.
I'd say, look for someone who looks like you can be comfortable with and build a strong professional relationship to be able to maximize your education.
