About Madison
I have been tutoring elementary, jr. high, and high school students for the past four years. In 2019, I started a free tutoring service, and now I am making myself available to the public as a paid tutor.
I have education experience ranging from one-on-one to large groups. I have worked with students who are far below math and reading proficiency, as well as students with ADHD.

When working with a new student, I always askwhat their goal is. Are they prearing for a test? Are they struggling with a particular concept? Do they need a little refresher on a subject? Are they behind in a class?
Then I have a breif conversation to find out what they are interested in and how I can keep them engaged. Students shouldn't dread tutoring, and if I can keep them engaged, they are more likely to see it as an opportunity to learn and grow.
