I would like to get to know them and work with them to help them better understand what they are struggling with.
I have worked with friends but no students.
I can't say I am an "expert" but I would advise them to look for someone that can help with their area of struggle. I would also advise them to find someone who is patient and understanding.
I am fond of the time I saved a kid from drowning.
