About Malika
I am a chemical engineer with over 10 years of field experience and a homeschooling parent to a 9 and 11 yo. This is my third year homeschooling and I've been tutoring since 2016. My specialty is math and science for elementary through college as well as test preparation. Because of years of applying the concepts that I tutor in real life, and having a very good understanding of them, I am able to communicate my knowledge to a student by making a difficult concept very real and simple for them to understand and replicate.
I love social aspect of tutoring and I feed off that energy, so I constantly encourage students to do their best while helping them with their subjects. I enjoy seeing the students transform right in front of my eyes from the state of confusion to the state of clarity.
