About Ari
I've always helped with math for my friends and family as I was the resident Nerd in my circle. I'm currently helping a family member complete a course for plumbing which involves a lot of basic and intricate math.
I have a high school diploma and have taken many math courses as well as Physics and chemistry courses.

When working with a new student, I have a lot of patience and would like to understand the way of learning that best suits them and teach in that way to start. I'll then look into showing other ways to give different perspectives and increase knowledge of concepts.
I've worked with students anywhere from 7 years old to 70 (to name extreme examples) and by the end of a session they can demonstrate the concepts to me without help as if they were a teacher!
My family member has a lot of trouble with fractions and understanding measurement conversions in real life situations. By the end of every session, they can tell me why they make the correct conversions as well as when and how to use them.
