About Adam Austin
Calculus is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding subjects in math. I can help you cut through the confusion and pass your classes with flying colors.
I earned 5s on the AP Calculus AB and Calculus BC tests, have studied calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations as well. I am an incoming mathematics major who has extensive experience both as a competition math coach and as a tutor at the middle school and high school level.

I have never been very good at math and taking AP calc my junior year was an accomplishment in itself. In order to meet my needs as a student Austin was very thorough in his tutoring by not only practicing each problem I was assigned but going further and explaining each answer and process in follow up equations. I found his help to be better than office hours with my teacher seeing as my class was highly attended and he took extra time to ensure I understood the concepts. Austin is reliable, patient, passionate about math, and a wonderful teacher!
Adam is a dedicated tutor who knows Calculus backwards and forwards. He explained concepts clearly and with plenty of examples, and followed through on helping me study for tests and quizzes.

Details
I work at $20 an hour, and can negotiate prices flexibly for help on specific assignments and/or test prep. I also run 3 hour intensive AP prep sessions for $35, with materials that you'll get for free on top. I use Venmo to process payments, but if you prefer an alternate method I'll most likely be willing to work with it.
