About Daniel
HELLO!
My name is Daniel Potter, but you can just call me Danny if you like. I am a prior Fire Controlman Technician of the US Navy. Don’t let that scare you away though! Trust that I am no simpleminded foot soldier. I am a lifelong pursuer of knowledge, especially when it comes to science and mathematics. I also have been involved with music for over 15 years so if you’re looking for someone to give you pertinent, effective, and efficient musical guidance, then I am your guy. If you are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of up to intermediate level mathematical concepts, then I am your guy. If you are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the laws that govern our universe, then I am your guy. I love to teach and I will be there with you every step of the way to make absolutely sure that you get a step above the rest, and remove any stress you may have of not fully understanding the material. I am a firm believer that if you can’t explain a concept on the level of a kindergartner then you don’t truly understand the concept. We will always be on equal footing, I don’t want to create any kind of distance because that is the exact opposite of a cooperative and effective learning environment. I was the go to guy in school, and naval advanced technical training when it came to guidance for understanding what was assigned. I have held many informal tutoring sessions for many individuals in the past. Overall I have 1000+ hours of tutoring experience. I look forward to meeting you!
