About Orion
Hi there,
My name is Orion and I am a UC Berkeley graduate in Applied Mathematics.
I teach all levels of math up to AP calculus BC, including but not limited to SAT math, algebra, trigonometry.
I believe that every person is a math person. Together we will find joy in solving problems and we will look at why they work the way they do-- you will be empowered to solve the prblems we work on together and tackle questions on your own.
I got started teaching math as a student helping my friends. Then, at Berkeley, I worked in the Student Learning Center as a tutor for college math.
I have a degree in applied math from UC Berkeley and I have tutored math for 10 years. When I attended UC Berkeley, I went through their tutor training and was a university math tutor at the Student Learning Center.

Orion is very patient and kind. He is always willing to re-explain concepts and go over material. I really enjoy learning from Orion, and he is a great tutor.
Orion was professional, friendly, and obviously passionate and excited about math.
