About Ethan
Hi, as a former math major in college, I always felt that the fastest way to learn a subject was a little bit of theory followed by some examples! I try to follow this method when teaching, and hopefully it works for you too!
I spent a lot of time and money learning math so it's nice to be able to pass that on! Also I know times are trying right now and it'll be difficult to grasp certain concepts from home, so I'm glad to be able to help!

Before our first session I like to set expectations - what does the new student want to get out of our tutoring sessions? Once that's decided, I gauge where the student's knowledge on the subject is currently at and build lessons from there. Of course, if the student is struggling with homework, I can adjust lessons to prioritize the content from said homework.
