About Laurie
I'm a recently retired teacher, with 35 years of elementary education experience. I can help with current curriculum expectations, and also use traditional methods to help understanding. I'm available for elementary reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. I can also assist with study skills, organization, time management, and a variety of learning approaches. Warmth, friendliness, and humor are key to my time with students. I balance that with clear expectations for behavior in order to maximize learning time.
