About Ryan
I was previously a high school and middle school math teacher in Chicago Public Schools for 4 years but left for better business oppurtunities. I know all levels of mathmatics and hoe to teach them using Common Core. You can see my linkedin profile at (concealed information)
I enjoy teaching math and seeing young adults learn the foundations of math. I have been able to bring stundents from 3 grade levels behind up to grade level within the year.
I got started teaching with tutoring my peers while I was in High School. I then decided to attend Illinois State University to complete my BA in Mathematics Education where I received a STEM scholorship for Urban Education.
I have a Professional Educator's License through that state of Illinois for 6-12 Mathematics. I have taught general math for 7th and 8th graders, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Business Math. Although I have not taught Calculas, I can provide insight and understanding.
