About Madeline
I have a B.S. in mathematics and physics from the University of Washington. I have experience teaching people of all ages. I am a patient and knowledgeable instructor and I want to help you succeed at your math goals.
I am willing to travel to your home or conduct our lessons totally online.
I enjoy the challenge of finding new ways to explain a concept to someone to help them understand the topic. I also just love math in general.
Leading summer camps and working with kids inspired me to take on more teaching opportunities in college! I hope to become a math professor someday.
I have a B.S. in math and physics from the University of Washington and I am starting my math PhD in the fall. I have been grading for upper-level math courses at UW for over a year, and I have experience helping others with their college math homework.
I also have extensive experience working with kids as a lead summer camp counselor for the non-profit Skate Like a Girl over the past four summers. As an undergraduate, I taught a general-studies course for freshmen in which I independently created lesson plans.
