About Sougat
With a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, I am confident in my ability to be an effective tutor for K-12 students. My journey in education began at Purdue University, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. This academic experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in various subjects, particularly in the STEM field.
My teaching experience extends beyond the normal student setting. As a Teaching Assistant for an introductory Python class at Purdue, I hosted open office hours, answered student queries, and provided constructive feedback on assignments. This experience has honed my ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner and to adapt my teaching style to meet individual student's needs.
Moreover, I have had the rewarding opportunity to volunteer as a tutor for elementary school students who were struggling in class.
