About Kelly
Hi! My name is Kelly Ann, and I am a retired mathematician.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Dayton.
I received my Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Florida (Go Gators!)
I also won the award for Best Graduate Assistant in the Math Department.
I taught math at the high school, community college, and university level. I also taught math online.
I worked as an actuary for 7 years, and as a Data Quality Analyst for over 20 years for companies like Dell & Apple.
All of my students said that my best quality is my genuine enthusiasm for math. I am gentle, encouraging, and warm.
I do my best to make math fun, and to meet your student where they are...
They may have gaps in their knowledge. They may have math anxiety or text anxiety. They may have had negative experiences with math teachers.
Another issue is that you may not be able to help them because you do math differently than their teacher.
Let me help set your student on the road to success!
