Getting to know them first, I find with this we can connectand learn in a better environment when we know eachother a bit. Next is to find what aspect of Math they are having troubles with, if we can get to the root of the problem it will make learning way easier. Finally, we resolve it and continue further making sure to use fun and interesting ways to learn.
