About Spencer
Hello, my name is Spencer Tutor and I've been operating my tutoring business since 2020. I have a bachelor's degree in education from State University and 5 years of classroom teaching experience.
What I love most about my work is seeing the "aha!" moments my students have when a concept finally clicks. It's so rewarding to help students understand difficult material and gain confidence in their abilities. I have a gift for breaking complex topics down into clear, easy-to-understand lessons.
My individualized approach is what sets me apart from other tutoring services. Rather than focusing on test prep or assignments, I work with each student to identify their learning style and any gaps in their foundational knowledge. Then I build customized lesson plans that address their unique needs. We work at their pace until they truly master the material.
I also offer flexible scheduling options. In addition to meeting in-person or online, I'm happy to schedule weekend or evening sessions to accommodate busy student schedules. You can expect clear communication and 24/7 availability from me via phone, text or email.
