About Akash
I'm studying engineering at Purdue University and taking general chemistry and calculus, and I plan to go into aerospace engineering. Before university, I tutored math specifically to middle school students at Kumon for a year. I coached within my high school, helping students who required help with math, science, and psychology. Those subjects specifically are vital to me because I took AP calculus AB for a year as well as AP calculus BC and one year of IB HL math, so my knowledge of math is excellent, as well as my understanding of teaching it because I have done that for quite a while now. On the other hand, I took IB Biology for IB Science and received a high score on the IB test. For AP Psychology, I also received a high score on the test and wrote my EE (extended essay) about 20 pages on the research of authoritative parenting in psychology. Overall, what motivates me to be the best in my field is to work hard and be animated about teaching and learning, which is what I am so passionate about, and I hope that I can continue to do so.
