About Kayla
I am a current college student at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, majoring in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics, Physics, and Biology. I have five years of experience working with children, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as extensive experience tutoring college students. Additionally, I have worked with students with learning disabilities. As a tutor, I focus on engaging students through question-based learning, assessing their current understanding, and filling knowledge gaps rather than simply presenting information. My goal is to foster critical thinking and confidence in my students.
