The Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts is the largest music and performing arts school in the city having taught over 12,000 students since we opened in the fall of 2000. As Frisco’s original music & arts school, more students have taken lessons here than anywhere else! The widest range of lessons available in one location. MUSIC - Piano, Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Ukulele, Banjo, Drums, Violin, Viola, Cello, Voice lessons plus our Rock School Band; ACTING - stage blocking, vocal projection, character development, self-confidence; ART - Mixed Media, Cartooning, Drawing; MUSICAL THEATRE - singing, acting and stage dance; all in one location. Busy families can save drive time and money by scheduling multiple lessons or multiple family members on the same day. Ask about the discounts available for multi-series registration! Our teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal goals and helping you to achieve them. With over 45 teachers, all with University training and/or professional performance experience - you can be confident that we have the right teacher to meet your needs. Our School has two amazing buildings on campus, is over 15,000 sq. ft. with 33 teaching studios, including our state-of-the-art performance hall with professional lighting, sound and video: home of the FriscoPAC. With over 45 teachers you can imagine the flexibility we have in helping you select a lesson schedule time. People of all ages and levels come here to take lessons. Even adults who are new to music & the arts, or returning to study!

Our teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal goals and helping you to achieve them, and we incorporate all the details into our weekly lessons and classes (ex. music theory and sight reading into your music lessons, stage terminology and choreography, specialized art techniques and art history movements - you get the idea!) right along with helping you learn your favorite part of music, acting, art and musical theatre.
In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the styles that you want to learn.

We teach a wide variety of styles, from classical piano to rock and metal, sacred to modern pop and jazz music, vocals and singing, method and improv acting, mixed media and cartoon animation/flip book art, plus musical theatre staging, blocking, choreography, sequencing and Broadway routines.
