About
I am a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a strong background in biology, chemistry, and laboratory-based learning. As someone with a cross-cultural background and experience living and studying in the U.S., I understand that learning can be especially challenging when students are also working through language barriers, pronunciation difficulties, or cultural differences in the classroom. Because I am fluent in both English and Vietnamese, I am patient and aware of how confusing scientific terms can feel when they are unfamiliar or difficult to pronounce.
Working with me is supportive, organized, and encouraging. I do my best to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and explaining what they do not understand. I know from personal experience that difficult science courses can feel overwhelming at first, but I have learned how to break down complex concepts into simpler steps, connect ideas to real examples, and develop study strategies that make challenging material easier to manage.
I am well-prepared to support students effectively through my patience, adaptability, and commitment to helping them build genuine understanding and confidence rather than simply memorizing information. My own academic struggles have taught me how to approach hard topics with persistence and strategy, and I want to use that experience to help other students succeed. Whether a student needs help understanding biology concepts, solving chemistry problems, improving scientific vocabulary, or preparing for exams, I will meet them where they are and guide them toward steady improvement.
