About Amber
Greetings! I would like to introduce myself as a life-long learner that has been helping students improve their skills and passion for learning for over 14 years in grades K-8th. I have a Masters of Science in Education, with endorsements in gifted education, middle grades science, social studies, reading, technology, and art. I specialize in the sciences, especially Earth Science, and received an excellence in education award from the International Science Teaching Foundation. I currently teach a STEAM program for K-6th.
I truly enjoy teaching and engaging students in learning. Test taking skills are always included in any of my content lessons, but my goal is to help students gain the confidence to never fear a test. Learning is good for the brain and does not have to be stressful.
