About Isabelle
I have a Ph.D in Inorganic/Materials Chemistry and I have been a college professor for the past 27 years teaching a variety of undergraduate chemistry courses and labs, primarily general chemistry. I have helped numerous high school, college students and adult learners of all levels master general chemistry by breaking down complex concepts into logical steps easy to understand. I know what chemistry topics learners find challenging and what common misconceptions to avoid. I dispose of a breadth of curated resources (videos, real-world examples, analogies, etc.) to provide different approaches to solving problems and to adapt my teaching to each learner. In addition, as a native of France, I can tutor in English or French.
