About Sarah
I graduated from Chapman University with a B.S. in Organismal Biology. I received my Masters degree in Biology with an emphasis on phylogenetics and marine biology from the California Polytechnic University of Pomona. I have taught college-level biology courses for seven years. Classes I have taught include anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and beginning biology for non-science majors.
Recently I became an instructor for an after school and summer program that teaches biology topics to elementary school students.
It is my hope that any student I teach leaves my class with not only a better understanding of biology but with critical thinking skills and a love for science that will extend far beyond the classroom.
