About Laurymar
Hi there! I am a senior in college, with 6 years of tutoring experience. I served in the military for 5 years annd decided to go back to school at the end of my service so I’m a little older than your average student. After the military, I worked as a nanny while I studied during the pandemic and gained valuable insight on helping teens and kids. Although I moved on from elementary and high school a little while ago, I’ve found that the fundamentals have never left me. Im an easy going person with a passion for all things science! I love looking for new ways to explain complex topics and helping others learn in their own unique style. It’s important to me that whoever I’m tutoring walks away feeling like they have a better understanding of the topics covered and is confident in their own abilities. If I don’t know something I’ll let you know and we’ll find the correct answer together. Learning and understanding are a process that can be stressful and frustrating. Let me help you lighten that load!
