About Gerald
My name is Dr. Bahamonde and I am a board certified nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and experience in teaching pharmacology, biology, nutrition, and family nurse practitioner courses. I have 20 years of teaching experience, including classroom, one-on-one, and volunteer settings. I have a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida. I also have certifications in pharmacology, family nurse practitioner, and advanced pharmacology.
have taught a variety of students, ranging from high school students to adult learners. My approach to tutoring is to focus on the individual needs of the student and to create a tailored program to meet their goals. I provide personalized instruction, support and guidance to my students, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them to develop the necessary skills to excel in their coursework. I also focus on helping students understand the material by breaking it down into easily manageable pieces and providing practice questions to improve their understanding.
I have a proven track record of helping students improve their scores on the SAT, ACCN, and NCLEX exams with majority attaining their targets. In addition, I have extensive experience in preparing students for clinical rotations and helping them to understand clinical practice. I am an outstanding tutor for the selected subjects because of my extensive knowledge, experience, and background in nursing and my ability to tailor my instruction to the individual needs of the student. My goal is to help students develop the necessary skills to perform well in their courses and to provide personalized instruction, support, and guidance to help them reach their individual goals.
