About Alexandra
I am currently a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, where I have been teaching statistics for Social Sciences for three years.
My classes ranged from 10 to 70 undergraduate and postgraduate students, including PhD students.
I developed and designed tutorials, creating interactive activities for research designs learning.
My teaching was highly rated and I nominated for a Teaching Award in 2015/2016.

I try to teach the logic of statistics and how to use SPSS with minimal reference to maths of formulas. I want to make sure you understand why use statistics, how, and when they can help you answer a question or not.
Starting from the key concept of 'data', 'cases' 'significance' you will be able to run linear or logistical regressions without needing a strong math background but still understand what is happening.
