About Rhys
I enjoy teaching because it's fun, rewarding, and I genuinely like helping people learn new things in a way that feels simple and engaging. I believe learning should be interactive and enjoyable — not just memorising facts — so I try to keep lessons lively and tailored to each student. I take a patient, adaptable approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the learner’s needs and pace. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where a student can feel comfortable asking questions and trying things out. My lessons often include interactive tasks, clear explanations, and lots of examples to help with understanding and memory. Lessons usually last 60 minutes, though I can adjust this depending on the student’s age, focus level, and goals, to be anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours. I’ve previously tutored a young Spanish-speaking student in English, Welsh, and basic science. This experience taught me how to explain concepts clearly, break language barriers, and keep lessons engaging. I offer lessons for children, teenagers and beginner-to-intermediate learners in English, Welsh, Spanish, Maths, and basic science. Whether you're looking for support with schoolwork, help with language learning, or extra practice in a specific subject, I can help.
