About Ginny
Ginny Lane teaches all the elements of art such as values, colors, composition, texture and varoius techniques to help you create paintings you will love! She encourages your own individual style. Students paint from live still lives and photos in a studio setting, Occasionally painting outside is done "plein air"
I love to paint and share knowledge of what I have learned in the past 20 years of my painting career. I love to see my students get excited when they paint a successful painting. I find it very rewarding.
I have 20 years experience in painting. I have taken many painting classes and workshops to improve my painting. I paint almost everyday in my studio. I have been in many shows and won awards.

Ginny meets you where you are with your painting experience. She makes painting a lot of fun while we are learning principles of painting. She is flexible as far as lessons that we want to have.
Ginny is very knowledgeable in color mixing and overall painting techniques. She truly enjoys painting. Her artwork is great.
I used a teach with Ginny!!! All the students love her because she is so good and comfortable explaining and teaching! She is a natural teacher! As well as, a beautiful artist! She loves for her students to continue to grow! She enjoys trying all sorts of different techniques with her students! She is a master in the art basics but also free to break the rules! She spends a lot of time with each student! And more than anything... makes it fun!!
